The corridors smell of soap and pencil shavings, and the walls are covered with drawings taped up crooked, no two of them alike. Each classroom has tables pushed together, chairs in different colours, a board at the front and a box of chalk or markers. A bell rings and the yard fills all at once with shouting and bouncing balls; it rings again and the voices fade away behind closed doors. At the end of the day, coats hang on their hooks and footsteps echo down an empty hall.

Easy (2-3 years)

Medium (4-5 years)

The Medium version of this School puzzle splits the picture into 9 pieces on a 3×3 grid, a balanced challenge for children aged 4 to 5.

At this age kids can already picture how pieces fit together and learn to plan their moves. Nine pieces demand more sustained focus and build patience and spatial perception.

Hard (6+ years)

In its Hard version, the School puzzle breaks into 16 pieces on a 4×4 grid, a challenge designed for children aged 6 and up.

Solving 16 pieces requires planning, comparing shapes and holding attention for several minutes. It is the level that trains problem-solving and frustration tolerance the most, with the big reward of completing a complex picture.
