Out in the open ocean, far from any shore, where the water turns a deep bottomless blue, is where the whale spends its life. Up at the surface the wind keeps wrinkling the water, and then a long dark back rolls into view, smooth and shining, and slides under again. Before it goes down it blows: a puff of mist that the wind pulls apart in a moment, leaving a strange salty smell hanging in the air. The tail lifts slowly, streaming water, and disappears without a sound. Sometimes the whale just floats there, still as a wet log, while gulls drift closer. From a small boat, the thing you notice most is how quiet everything goes afterward.

Easy (2-3 years)

The Easy version of this Whale puzzle has just 4 pieces on a 2×2 grid, made for children aged 2 to 3 who are starting to understand how parts make up a whole.

With so few pieces, kids complete the picture fast and feel a first sense of achievement without frustration. It is the ideal starting point for training hand-eye coordination and recognizing colors and shapes.

Medium (4-5 years)

Hard (6+ years)

Solving 16 pieces requires planning, comparing shapes and holding attention for several minutes. It is the level that trains problem-solving and frustration tolerance the most, with the big reward of completing a complex picture.
