Castle Coloring Page

A castle usually has very thick stone walls, towers rising at the corners, and a main entrance that sometimes crosses over a bridge. From the top of the towers, a wide stretch of the surrounding landscape comes into view, with fields or a town spreading out toward the horizon. Flags set on the highest rooftops move with the wind and can be seen from quite a distance. Over time, the stone in the walls changes color in different spots, darker where rainwater runs down and lighter in the parts that stay protected. On this coloring page you can vary the tone of the stone depending on the part of the castle, instead of using one flat gray, and pick bold colors for the flags and the pointed roofs of the towers.
