Mailman Coloring Page

The mailman starts the round early, when the streets are still quiet and only the birds in the trees can be heard. He carries the bag slung across his shoulder, loaded with letters and the occasional small package, delivering house by house always in the same order. At every corner he greets the neighbors sweeping their sidewalks or watering their plants, and many of them are already expecting him at that same hour. When he reaches a house with a dog, he slows down and slides the letters through the mail slot so as not to startle it. Halfway through the route he stops for a moment in the shade of a tree to adjust the bag, which grows lighter with every stop.
