Poplar on the avenue Coloring Page

Along the sides of a long avenue, poplars line up one after another as if marking the way with the same repeated shape. They are slender trees, taller than they are wide, with branches that grow close to the trunk instead of spreading out to the sides. When a breeze passes through, their leaves twist and show both sides at once, making a steady murmur you hear before you see the movement. You can play with that idea using two shades of green for the leaves, one for each side, letting them blend at the edges of the canopy. The trunk can take fine vertical lines to mark the bark, and the avenue in the background can stay one even color so the trees remain the center of attention.
