Fantasy coloring pages: unicorns, dragons, fairies, and wizards

What does fantasy stimulate in coloring?
The world of fantasy is the playground of childhood imagination. This collection brings together unicorns with flowing manes, friendly dragons, fairies with translucent wings, wizards with pointy hats, elves, mermaids, and diverse magical creatures. The drawings are designed so kids have total color freedom — there are no "correct" colors on a unicorn.
Coloring fantasy characters boosts creativity like few other topics: kids can invent stories, decide on powers, create worlds. Cognitively, working with imaginary creatures stimulates abstract thinking (understanding that something can not exist in reality and still have its own rules). On a motor level, fairy and dragon wings have fine details that require precision, while wizard cloaks offer large areas to paint.
Parent tip: fantasy is the best trigger for creative narration. Let your child tell you who the dragon in the drawing is, where it comes from, and what it wants. You'll discover that coloring can be the starting point for incredible stories. All drawings are free and available to print or color online.
