About Baby Seal Coloring Page to Print Free

A baby seal spends much of the day resting on rocks or sand, curled on its side with its front flippers tucked close to its body. When something catches its attention, it lifts its head slowly and twitches its whiskers, listening for any sound coming from the water. Moving on land is hard for it, so it inches forward in little hops with its whole body while its back flippers drag behind, but in the water everything changes and it moves with a completely different ease. It enjoys the company of other seals and often settles right next to them to rest in a group, forming a messy row along the warm stones. Its fur is short and thick, and often ends up dusted with sand after a good roll around.
