About Mandarin Orange Coloring Page to Print Free

A mandarin has a loose peel that separates from the flesh with just a bit of finger pressure, no knife needed. Peel one and a citrus scent lingers on your hands for a while, even after washing them. Inside it splits into segments that come apart easily from each other, each wrapped in a thin, slightly fibrous skin. A few small seeds turn up between the segments, and it helps to set them aside before eating. It grows in tight clusters among narrow leaves, and several mandarins tend to ripen at nearly the same time on one branch. On this coloring page you can use different oranges for the peel, leaving some areas paler near the stem, and add a soft green for the leaves peeking between the fruit.
